April 1, 2011, 9 a.m., Ohio UnionMark Frauenfelder, editor of the popular boing boing blog and author of Made by Hand: Searching for Meaning in a Throwaway World, will talk about self-education and do-it-yourself projects in his keynote address "DIY: Innovation."
In addition to co-founding the bOING-bOING blog (honest: here's his DMSW Boing Boing post), he was founding editor-in-chief of Wired Online. He will be leading a workshop on Friday April 1 at 10:30 for Make Your Own Candolin.

At 3:30 p.m. in the Ohio Union, the OSU Kiplinger Program will present Columbus Dispatch multimedia producer Doral Chenoweth, who will discuss his YouTube video of Ted Williams. The video went viral and propelled ex-radio announcer and recovering drug addict Ted Williams to instant fame.
